• The deck plan of the Italy Yachts 12.98 has been developed with meticulous attention to ergonomics and clean lines, to ensure maximum safety and mobility in any weather condition.
• • Cleaning and Side decks: All running rigging (sheets and halyards) runs below deck within dedicated channels, leaving the side decks and coachroof completely free from obstacles. This maximises the sunbathing area and the fluidity of the crew's movements.
• • Layout and Versions: The boat was originally conceived with two configurable souls:
• • Fuoriserie (Racing): Characterised by a classic 6 winch setup to handle all the rigging separately, with a mainsheet traveller at the aft end of the cockpit and no teak to reduce weight.
• • Bellissima (Cruising): A cleaner solution with 4 winches positioned near the helms for easier handling (even with a reduced crew), with a fixed mainsheet point and the possibility of installing a removable central table in the cockpit.
• • Aft and Cockpit area: The cockpit is decidedly spacious and served by long bench-lockers. The twin wheel steering guarantees an optimal central passage towards the aft, which is straight and closed by a beautiful fold-down swim platform at sea level, ideal for moments at anchor.
• • Bow: Fitted with a large and modern integrated bowsprit (dolphin striker) that serves both as a bow roller for the anchor and as a mooring point for asymmetric sails like Gennaker or Code Zero.

• The interiors stand out for a modern and linear design, where the shipyard has managed to optimise the volumes while maintaining contained weights thanks to the use of lightweight yet extremely refined materials. The classic layout is 3 cabins and 1 or 2 bathrooms:
• • Saloon (Quadrato): Makes full use of the generous beam of the hull. We find a comfortable dinette in a "U" shape with a central table. The internal height is excellent and approaches 1.90 metres, providing excellent habitability despite the sleek profile of the coachroof. The long lateral passages of light guarantee
• • Galley (Cucina): Located to the right of the companionway, it is spacious and designed for long navigations. It includes a worktop equipped with a three-burner folding stove, a capacious cockpit fridge and a sink.
• • Chart Table (Zona Carteggio): Positioned to the left, it features a classic forward-facing station with a dedicated seat and a large panel for integrating all the onboard electronic instrumentation.
• • Owner's Cabin (Forward): Spacious and airy, featuring a large central double bed, ample lateral storage and shelves for stowage. The double-door access can be fully opened to create a single large open-plan visual space with the saloon during the day.
• • Aft Cabins (Cabine di Poppa): Two twin cabins structured with regular flat beds, lockers for personal effects and opening portholes on the coachroof and towards the cockpit to favour cross ventilation.
• • Finishes (Finiture): The 2017 model's outfitting focuses on light tones and precious woods that enhance the elegance of the spaces, differing between the Fuoriserie version (more essential, sometimes without high shelves to save weight) and the Bellissima version (rich in lockers and finishes)
